Pixami Photo Site is a turnkey, 100% web-based software solution that allows our customers to build a successful business, or expand their existing business, with custom photo products such as books, cards, calendars, posters, mugs, mousepads and more.
Pixami Photo Site has evolved over more than 10 years, and has been deployed in various forms for several of the largest consumer photo brands. It is the most complete, flexible, customizable, and proven product on the market.
The 'front-end' of the system provides a professional, easy-to-use interface for creating and ordering all types of personalized, custom photo products. Pixami tools provide for extensive reskinning and branding of the site, as well as for easy configuration of features, products, template content and other variables.
The 'back-end' renders orders to an imposed, print-ready PDF file, with options including crop marks and bar codes, and provides a wealth of features for production tracking and customer service.
Pixami Photo Site also includes a complete Shopping Cart, with functionality for managing products, creating sales and coupons, and messaging to registered users.

Technology
By tightly integrating advanced digital imaging technology with the most attractive features of the Internet, Pixami products greatly enhance the online photo experience for all users.
The foundation of all Pixami software products is a proprietary image processing engine, which uses low-resolution previews for all on-screen photo and page processing. Once the desired modifications have been achieved, only a small proprietary script file is uploaded to the server, where the high-resolution photo or page is processed, in the background, and totally independent of the users system.
This technology assures fast online performance, as well as perfect translation of the onscreen page design to the final printed file, and is a significant advantage of the Pixami system over other technologies.
